The watchmaking company Oris presents a new timepiece inspired by the Type 997 Porsche cars driven in competition by Darryl O’Young, the PCCA Double Class A Champion. The new Oris watch looks really cool, sporty and technical. The series is limited to 997 copies – a nod to the Type 997 Porsches.

The new Oris timepiece is housed by a 43.5-mm case that guarantees maximum comfort for the wearer. The curved case is coated with black DLC that enhances durability and adds style to the looks. The watch is secured on the wrist with a sporty rubber strap with flexible lugs.
The unusual glass dial of the new Oris watch is printed with a wheel rim pattern and offers a glimpse of the quality automatic mechanical movement, as well as the calendar date wheel. This creates an eye-catching 3D layered dial effect. The Superluminova numerals and black nickel hands on the dial are the same Microgramma typeface as used on the Porsche cars.
The new Oris timepiece will surely be appreciated by those who like active lifestyle, speed and precision.
