The new Blue Eagles watch by Oris was created to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the company’s partner – the Blue Eagles Helicopter Display Team. The aviation BC4 collection of watches by Oris has been replenished by an impressive novelty worthy of its namesake. The new watch is housed by a big case with black DLC-coated bezel marked with black and white that stand for day and night.
Specially for the new watch Oris developed and created a new movement calibre 653. The watch is also notable for the second time zone indicator that is an outer rotary ring at the dial operated by the vertical crown. The watch is also equipped with the Oris Quick Lock Crown system that prevents accidental time correction. The movement animates the functions of hours, minutes, seconds, date and second time zone.
The case of the new Oris watch is made of stainless steel and measures 45 mm in diameter. The dial is black. It shows appliqué indices and hands coated with the Superluminova treatment. The dial is shielded with convex sapphire crystal coated with the anti-reflection treatment from both sides. The back case is equipped with a mineral crystal aperture and is secured by 7 screws. The new watch is water resistant down to 100 meters.
The watch is completed with a black leather strap with a contrast stitching and special folding clasp. The new watch is produced in a limited edition of 1969 copies.
