During the forthcoming BaselWorld 2010 Watch and Jewellery fair the famous watchmaking brand Movado is going to unveil its new elegant collection of timepieces – Master. The new collection is notable for a new direction for the design of the Movado Museum’s iconic dial.
The new Movado watch features an asymmetrical dial with a matte black or white dot-textured motif. It explores a new facet of “the circle within a circle”, giving it a different dimension and structure. With its convex center, the symbolic dot at twelve takes on the appearance of a pushpiece. The new Movado watch is housed by a stainless steel 44-mm case with a black sapphire bezel. The dial showing luminescent hour markers is protected with scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with interior anti-reflective treatment. The back case is also equipped with sapphire crystal aperture. Water resistace is 300 meters.
The new Movado watch is available both in male and female versions. The men’s version of the Movado Master houses an automatic movement with 25 jewels and the emblematic “M” rotor. The ladies’ version offers a variety of jewellery settings and houses a quartz movement.
The new Movado watch is secured at the wrist with a dot-textured black or smooth white rubber strap with a steel folding clasp.
